Re: For those GBA hacks for SID or C64 Emulation...
Is there such a thing as a Game Boy Advance-based C64 emulator...? Yes: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=21407 It's pretty decent too as I recall, but the best handheld C64 Emulation I have used so far (out of PSP, NDS and GBA) has been via the GP2X's VICE emulator. Pandora should ...

Re: Monotron ??? Coming 2008
Hi Tomsk! Sorry for missing this - I don't come here nearly as much as I should at the moment! Monotron cover EP and album WILL be released this year and I'm really glad you're looking forward to it. :) The project went on an unofficial pause for a while, whilst waiting for the release of the new C6...

Re: Current SID "trackers"
Half the problem with the SID scene is the now huge diversity in age/musical background that the chip attracts. Most of the Timbaland inspired 'chip kiddy's' probably think that Rob Hubbard is a science fiction writer. ;) I'm constantly impressed by new innovations within the C64 scene (mainly the h...

Sorry to hear that, but glad to hear that he'll probably make a good recovery.

Re: Re:
Quadrasid sold close-to-nothing copies compared to Nexus. Looks like most of the people just preferred to download pirated copies of it, making the project for OctaSID come to a stop. Really? That's official? Damn - that is bad news... :( Also, Nexus is a much more flexible instrument Really? I tho...

Re: Re:
Here's hoping the pirates will share their booty some say soon. It's Syncrosoft dongle protected, so that's HIGHLY unlikely. If you want it so badly, you'd better just start saving now... Personally, I wish they'd just dump Nexus and get on with Octasid (or even just update Quadrasid for ...

Re: Tracking, we're Tracking...
Hehe - I'm admittedly very biased in this area! :D I personally like my synth music brutally sequenced and in perfect time. This (to me) is how synth music is supposed to sound. My point is, that I'd like to have both options... trackers and sequencers would be nice to have in the same package someh...

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Nobody did seem to understand how great and inspiring the music was. :confusion: Yep - SID music is a lot like Marmite... I remember battling through The Last Ninja *just* to hear the next piece of loading music. I also figured out quite early on that if you stopped the tape deck on loaders as soon...
