There's no offline export in the player? That way you could export the songs in mp3 and be done with the w98 eventually :)

You could run W98 inside Virtual PC as a workaround and use whatever you used to use earlier, check out http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtualpc/default.mspx

Of course, not a really viable solution for the budget conscious.

Native Instruments Battery users?

Is there someone here that:

1) uses Native Instruments Battery and
2) has not yet upgraded to version 2 that was released few months ago?

I have an extra upgrade DVD and valid serial to hand out to someone with respectable C64 remix track record (or at least plans to have one ;) )

There's no need for specific implementation in SIDplay, just use Slipstream by Rogue Amoeba: http://www.rogueamoeba.com/slipstream/

Ok, it's not released yet but it's coming soon ;)

Congrats to all the winners, especially to Romeo Knight for keeping the rock remix alive in the charts :) Oh, and thanks to everyone who voted and to everyone who didn't - now I have at least one reason to work on remixes in 2005 too. ;) Actually, there are already one finished remix and two in the ...

We had snow for a week in November but that's about it. The whole winter has been a one (way too long) joke, most of the time it's been around +2 degrees celsius. With snow, the darkness would be almost bearable but without any snow it just sucks. And blows.

its also a case of apple actually listening to its customers :) Well, if you build an OS by taking Mach kernel (or rather the whole OpenStep) as basis, add some Net/FreeBSD parts and spice it up with loads of Free/Open source software it's kinda essential to have the shell along with the pretty GUI...

Well, at that price one could buy the minimac, the big problem is with expandability, a factor totally absent in the new machine. With Firewire and USB in the back it's pretty much like laptop in that way: get a decent Firewire audio I/O (the 01X for example) and either of the Firewire Powercores a...

The Mac Jonathan..... now there was an interesting Mac...... modular boltons, black PS2 styling with blue/red LED's. Macs are kinda cool for DTP and Midi.... nothing else on them really strikes me. http://kaunis.to/archive/stuff/jonathan/jonathan.jpg http://kaunis.to/archive/stuff/jonathan/teksti.g...

Re: Expensive Macs? You kidding?

Apple released info on the Mac Mini yesterday. it's all in the media. Firewire, 2xUSB, MacOS X, 1.4 GHz G4 et al and the size of a CD box (ok, a little bigger) for under EUR 500 (484 in Germany in fact). Mine is ordered. As is mine, just perfect for mixed use DVR and home server. After living with ...

Seems fair  Wish i could do that with keyboards or rackmount patch modules... Actually, it does serve a real purpose too. While some of the guitars are mainly for collecting, others are suitable for different recording situations and deliver different sound for different styles. I still have...

I have a little trouble justifying buying new music equipment (especially guitars) nowadays. It's not about the money, it's my money anyway so I can spend it how I see fit - but the space in our apartment is kinda limited. After 14 guitars she started asking if I really really need all of them. The ...
