...and when you get tired of Sony trying to make homebrew software on PSP impossible, go and get the GP2X. It's at least open for everything, supports Frodo/VICE and tons of other emulators like SCUMMVM etc. http://www.gp2x.com After unpacking, it took me 15 minutes to play Commando and about an hou...
Is anyone here in this forum happy, btw? Seems like everyone's having a pretty tough time of it. Well, let's see... + got a good start on the diet, again + it's quite warm in Finland, no need for arctic gear with +5 celsius + the new apartment we'll be moving in is getting finished in 2-3 months + ...
I would like to say that I'm really unhappy bout some comments (insult?) about my previous cover from some people here: http://www.remix64.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=3157 I really don't want to continue that discussion, but I'd like to note that you were the one taking the issues to personal (and in...
Damned, watching to replying to this thread means to me that you have nothing to do in your life. I don't think it's worthwhile to continue this discussion if it goes to personal level of that nature. And what about the respect about the original tune and his composer ? "A blatant copy" ?...

Listening to that piece sparked a deep philosophical question inside my head: should Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody be performed by chipmunks with banjo bac...
Cool, I didn't know Thomann has a finnish site. :) Yeah, it's pretty popular in here actually. Popular enough to be a real threat to the local resellers at least, they even have some pretty knowledgeable finnish speaking staff there. I'd prefer local shops but Thomann beats pretty much every local ...
Which one? Wouldn't be this Roland MIDI-Pickup easier or cheaper or whatever? (Maybe this would be an option for me, too) The Roland pickup is indeed a lot cheaper, but I don't like the prospect of having extra wired and bits in the guitar. Integrated solution is a lot better for possible live play...
You may be right that it's to a large amount a matter of getting used to but in the end we're talking about music and people don't like to match their playing to some technical restrictions - they like it the other way around. And especially regarding timing and holding a beat it's pretty necessary...
My Guitar Rig setup has a latency of 4 ms what is easily noticable during playing. I think - similar to beyond - that real jamming for at least semi-professional recording demands will begin around a lag of under 10 ms. Until this is possible it's only a "one side performing/other side recordi...
