c64 DTV demos
This is the first time I've seen people coding for the DTV, (I suspect it might be old news to some, but I was impressed). There's quite a lot of cool stuff out there! Amazing what a bit more memory and some more colours brings to the c64! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjAZtoeU8Zo Also, there's a w...

Re: C64 remake
Hey don't get me wrong, if I had money to burn then I'd invest, but ...... (along with the USB version of the Competition Pro) See how long this crappy piece of kit lasts...you won't enjoy the experience My point was, and still is, why no joystick ports. It spoils a near perfect geek product and wou...

Re: C64 remake
Plus, where's the joystick ports? An opportunity missed. They are trying to appeal to retro-geeks, and they miss out this detail???? Thing is, you can probably get most old school emulators working on it (it has a built in c64 one already), but when you come to play the games you have the same prob...

Re: Rob Hubbard Editor in Amiga Protracker clone running on PC
Oh my word - that appears to be an app I could spend hours tinkering with ! Superb effort and many thanks for posting here. Apart from the three channels you mention the ability to add more, along with fx, etc? Could you provide a little more detail. Does it load the a fourth sample channel ? So man...

Re: Tomsk on TV???
Ha ha - excellent spot Subby ! It was indeed me...I think the huge nose is the give away They only showed a bit of all of the stand up from that night, and they missed some of her better material as it might have been considered un-pc. Shame, but yes she was great.

Re: C-64 goes piano
Guess I have to ask the original composers for permission, or whoever now owns the rights I would contact Chris Abbott regarding ownership and publishing rights. I pretty sure the right to publish someone else's material as a "musical score" is the same as if you wanted to publish their t...

Re: C-64 goes piano
I loved hearing them (I got a link from a friend on this site). The arrangements are great, and I'd love to see some video footage and perhaps glean some playing tips from it. Hope you do more, and if you do, give us a reminder to check them out. :) Hard to choose a favorite, as I enjoyed them ALL, ...

Re: A couple of video's to past the time....
Nice find Danceaway. Very impressive mod he's done to acheive a wonderful and unique retro organ. His playing is also very impressive too. What I wouldn't give to have one of these, although I suspect my girl wouldn't be most amused
