Hey mate, glad to hear. Keep it up and heat yourself at your computer's vent. :) Hehe, thanks LMan. Unfortunately, my needs for some warmth are a tad more urgent having heard that the weather for my region is going to get worse towards the weekend! It's already into minus temperatures so I'm not ha...

Just a small update on me. :) Had a counselling session yesterday where I got a lot off my chest. It went really well. Feel a bit brighter than before but obviously long way to go still. I'm now looking forward to going away for Valentine's Day with Ellie, hope it's not as cold as today! Brrrrr! Spe...

Hey Chappers, nice idea on the one hand - on the other hand the forum ranks you mentioned are a standard feature, and the flags are not. So it would require either programming or a 3rd party mod, and every additional mod makes it more cumbersome to install security updates. Btw the national statist...

Re: Flags

Any chance of having a little flag symbol of the relevant country appearing next to their name when forum peeps post a message? I'm referring to something similar that is used on Nectarine . A bit of patriotism can't be all that bad. :D Sorry for being ye olde stick in the mud, but isn't that what ...

Flags

I remember there was a survey done a little while ago as to what country all the forum members come from in the world. Any chance of having a little flag symbol of the relevant country appearing next to their name when forum peeps post a message? I'm referring to something similar that is used on Ne...

Near miss

Just wanted to let you chaps know of something that happened yesterday at Chez Chappers..... Was out in my back garden having a chat with TheWench/Ginger Wench about the complexities of life when she reminded me of all the snow & ice thawing on the roof of the house and how it may all come down ...

Thanks for all the words of support, guys! I really appreciate the effort that everyone here has gone to to help me. I also want to say that I know the replies here reflect the forum as a whole, don't want anyone who hasn't posted to feel they are expected to post in support. Like I said in the orig...

An Apology

Sorry guys for the downer I'm about to reveal but it's been bottled up for a while.... :( I've not been as active on the forum (or in IRC) over the past fortnight due to stress and depression. It's been building up for the past 6 months with the crappy job I had and other family-related stuff going ...

Aww, hope the recovery is now going well, Dan.

Did you ask the nurse whether she had seen The Singing Detective? :D
