Effects in tracks - triggers
I find myself listening to lots of tracks on here and wishing I could reproduce some of the effects which others have used. A simple example of this would be applying a filter or echo to a track at a certain point that lasts for a few seconds or so and then everything continues to play as normal. I'...

Re: Amazing voice synthesis
I'm sooooo sad!
I found great humour in typing random phrases in.
Not only is it impressive - it also offers hours of fun on a friday night when you're way too exhausted to do anything else!

Name that c64 tune....
I started out with the intention of doing something with this and it kind of evolved into something different.
Is it instantly recognisable?

Re: Introduce yourself here!
I guess I should have introduced myself prior to getting involved elswhere on the site, still.... It's supposedly fashionable to be late :D I began messing about with music on my old A1200 with a motorolla 68020 and 7MB of Fast RAM, remixing commercial tunes for fun and private parties. I didn't do ...

Re: Renoise 2.5 (Beta) kicks ass... imho...

Re: Jesus on E's
Cheers for the feedback.
I found a few timing errors towards the end which have now been fixed and it's re-upped.
Not sure about the tuning in the last section - anyone noticed or does it sound ok?

Jesus on E's
Not to everybody's taste but an epic original from LSD/Echo. I was listening to it on Youtube a few weeks ago and it brought back a good few memories, so in the interest of nostalgia, I thought I'd give it a work over. Encountered a few challenges along the way - namely sourcing the original samples...

Re: Missing musicians from Remix64
I can understand what Infamous is saying in that post - this is a nostalgia site and there are only so many ways you can remix The Last Ninja tune - the material is limited and sometimes fruitless trying to keep coming up with newer and more exciting ways to remix what's been done many times before....

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8520266059391973661# The classic Jesus on E's as I'm trying to remix the whole 25 minutes of it and having trouble locating some of the samples originally used. It's sooo long ago and it's hard to remember what happened before breakfast, never mind anythin fr...

Missing musicians from Remix64
I've noticed a distinct absence of music from my favourite musicians this year leading to a lack of uptempo tunes on the site. Where's Hazel or Dafunk? I do like the original retro feel of alot of the tunes this year but I prefer to have my ipod loaded with stuff like Hardcore Power (an absolute cla...
