Update

I uploaded a updated version. I improved the mixing (i think) and some minor changes. I think i will submit this version to amigaremix.com, unless anyone has something suggestions on improving the track. Im happy about anyone who takes the time to listen to the track and tell me his thoughts. Genera...

RallyeMaster (Late night autobahn edit)

Original Amiga mod by Karsten Obarski Originally i wanted to do a cover of "Scrambled Mind" by Heatbeat. But it just wouldnt work so decided to try this one. There are still some lose ends in the arrangement. Im still working on it. Thats gonna be one big qeue on amigaremix.com The file en...

I remember this one very well. How many times have i had loaded it up in protracker and reused those samples, countless.

Great piece of work mark, though parts of it (around 1:30-2:30) remind me alot of cybernoid 2.

> More often than not general public will think otherwise. I agree with you there, but i hate to break the news to you : the RKO audience isnt exactly the "general public". Dont understand me wrong, but one has to be a geek to some degree to belong to this whole C64-amiga-retro-thing we ha...

You have your points, i accept that. Nevertheless, i wasnt suggesting to completely drop mp3 for the favor of ogg. I was just pointing out that meanwhile there is a growing amount of users that are familliar with ogg and that its a shame to ignore that. It would be nice if one (the remixer / listene...

Final update (?)

hi, This will probably be the final version that i will post on amigaremix. Please note that i have included links to a .OGG version and a .MP3 Version. The MP3 Version is encoded with variable bitrate (256-320) and no 19500 hz lowpass filter. The .OGG Version is encoded with quality 10 and a variab...

hmm

I just noticed the whole mix sounds a little bit too loud.
But only after i encoded it to mp3. The wav file doesnt sound so loud.

The general mood of the track is rather boppy and happy joy joy.
It wasnt really my intention to make it like this, but it kinda just fell in place.

update

I worked on it some more and might leave it like this. I replaced the original file with the update. <IMG BORDER="0" VSPACE="5" SRC="http://www.trsi.org/Archive/Demoz/Boulder.jpg" WIDTH="400" HEIGHT="283"> Ahh, i used to have this picture as a sticke...

Tristar Boulder Demo

Uh, yeah i know i really have to much free time. I couldnt resist this one. Please remind this is a mix in progress, its far from complete. It still lacks a proper bassline and a couple of fillers in the background plus some more overall variations. I left the original arrangement pretty much...

:)

Far too kind, far too kind :-) thanks.

I managed to stretch the tune to around 2:50, i think thats a far as i can
go without making it to repetitive. Im not entirely sure if i should leave it
in its current state. There are some minor things that still irritate me in it.

No need to be angry ..

I just read the reviews to it, well tough shit. dont take it to seriously tho.
The mix itself is as lman said "Crystal clear" and there is nothing bad to say about the whole piece, except that it gets a bit dull at times. but technically its very good. i wish my mastering would be that good.

Yo

Thanks for taking the time to listen into it makke. Hmm, maybe you would like to give me a hand on the drums. I could give you the track w/o drums and you take a shot (Seriously). Im having a bit of a hard time sometimes finding the right drums (and i usually stick with the built in 808 drums in my ...
