80's or not, I prefer the first version. It just seems to have more about it... Are you going to fill it out a bit? It sounds a little sparse right now - sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but I think an honest opinion is better than no opinion (or worse, a false opinion). Keep at it :D Jax

I thought about trying to do a 'remix' using only my voice - it would either sound cool or totally horrible. I'm always getting smacked for making stupid SID-esque noises at inappropriate moments, I figured I should try and do something constructive. But on second thoughts, I think it would probably...

Ah... Alan McDonut... I remember Cropper joined just after I did - he left nVidia, relinquishing a bunch of options with them just before they sky-rocketed - he would have seen a few hundred K if he'd hung on there - I think it was about the time they announced the deal to provide the Xbox hardware....

QuadraSID
Hey guys - maybe this is a bit 'cheeky', as I'm not a musician, but I do dabble occasionally in my work... Do any of you use QuadraSID in your remixing? I checked it out the other day and it seems pretty bloody smart! I've heard a lot of remixes that seem to have samples of original SID compositions...

I got a lot of that 'dropped' tunes just before they went into data nirvana. If you have a special title in mind... Nothing in particular - I just remember being 'oh so sad' when I realized that at one point I probably had a complete (at the time) collection, and then I busted my puter and lost the...

Are there any ex-Red Lemon guys there? I had a (miserable) stint up there - too much 'other stuff' going on in my life at the time - loved the city and the people, though (Glasgow). The company was a bit too 'flashy' though - fancy offices, etc., but no real product :| (I'll remember to hail you cor...

C64 games with GOOD music - follow-on...
Just a daft thing along the lines of the word association thread. Name a C64 game with cool music - subsequent posters use the last letter of the game name from the previous post as the starting letter for the reply. For example, if I say "Delta", the next reply should list a game starting...

Ex-EAC
Lol - do you Jax, where? Not EAC? I'm in the industry too.. in Audio :) I was at EAC - worked on the first Bond game there (Agent Under Fire), before moving across to the Def Jam team and doing the lead audio programing on Vendetta and Fight for New York. They were fun games to work on (despite me ...

Logan!
I've always liked the music from Logan, by Stefan Hartwig. Tune #1 is cool, but it's a cover from some bizarre German TV Show apparently. However, tune #2 is the real sweet one :) HVSC: /Hartwig_Stefan/Logan.sid - SubTune: 2 It's more like 3 tunes in 1, which might be a bit of a challenge... Opens w...
