Alan Silvestri. He's not done anything near as good since, but his soundtracks for BTTF and the two Predator movies really get my pulse racing. I'd say the music for Back to the Future in particular gets more of an emotional response out of me than the theme to Star Wars ever could. John Powells sco...

Hey, there tons of tunes of Kjells that'd make for fantastic remixes. I wish I had the sheer musical talent to do the lot of them. What I love about certain tunes of his is the places they take me. For instance, when I first heard Replaced (One Must Go), over the sweeping intro, I imagined a beautif...

In that demo Scroll down to "Invisible" and press the "Commodore" Key in CCS64 is the LEFT CTRL Key. And there is a cryptic letter in there. Those are actually the lyrics to the tune. It's pretty hard to sing along though. :D I dunno, rather than trying to keep on the dark side ...

S'alright Analog, I've got it going in Vice now. In CCS64, it'd get as far as the intro message before just stopping altogether. Bloody hell, that opening image is blood curdling. There's something off about the music to me. Like the intro left a bitter taste in my mouth, I can't really ease into it...

Hmmm, that's a shame, I can't get it working. Any clues people? I'm about as emulator savvy as a housebrick. It would be nice to hear those tunes since they're not up at HVSC.

I hadn't found that before! I shall have to find an emulator or something, check these out with the images to go along with them. I guess that's how they were meant to be heard. I'm particuarly interested in seeing the visuals to Replaced and Little Linn, since I had a particular set of images in my...

Maindrian: thanks for bringing this up. I will listen to the tracks you suggested and the rest of he's work. Although, I did not know him or havent heard/seen any of his work, I still find it sad to hear we lost an active member of the scene. I could give you a fuller list if you like. Kjells music...

I'm sorry to have brought it up to be honest, I got a little emotional finding that out. The music has been a constant companion over the last year and a bit. Some of it I know in and out, having pulled it to bits for remixing and research purposes, and now that feels a little like I've butchered so...

Oh dear, Kjell.

http://noname.c64.org/csdb/scener/?id=1591 I did not know this, nobody has ever mentioned it to me before. Truly sad, a massive shame. Anybody know of Kjell before? That's seriously upset me that has. I discovered him sometime in 2005, having a random search on sidfind for something to remix, somet...

It's VST, I think. Frankly, I've always been a "plug guitar/bass into soundcard, crank it and if it turns out bad, chop into little bits, hit with hammer and throw in a drum sequence" type musician. All this new terminology is a bit over my head. I often feel a little out of my depth discu...

Hello dear friends, it's been a long while since I've turned up here, how are you all? :D To the point, I've been having fun fiddling about with a program called Sawcutter for the past six months, using it to do simple little pieces of music for a daft little youtube film I'm still working on. Over ...

I find most things that have been entered for the Turner prize over the last few years to be quite offensively shit. Ahem, lets see. Piece of Blu-Tak thumbed into a wall. Tracy Emins bloody bed. Lights turning on and off in a gallery. Farly dull painting... Only noteworthy for the fact that the arti...

Coo, ta folks. Uneventful day, thank god. Went out, treated myself to a Doctor Who DVD. Shirt from my sister. No new guitar falling from the sky. Bum. :D I'll get on to you with a couple of songs later in the week Ifa, I'm busy with the bass guitar I blagged off a friend for a month. I reached a poi...
