Well, actually it's no children's song at all! This tune is from a comedy show called "Macken", which was a TV-series with 6-8 30 minutes programs about two brothers and their gas station. Anyway, these comedians, "Galenskaparna & After Shave", are still my favourite comedia...

The ninja are bouncing.

Ahem, yup. Two more up at RKO. Last Ninja 2 > Wondered about doing this one for a long while. Since puffy decided not to remix it, I thought I would give it the garage rock treatment. Its not even in the same league as the great P-man, but tell me what you all think anyway. Very Short > I love findi...

I think Goldsmith relies too much on his synths these days. His scores for Alien and the first two Star Trek movies make my hair stand on end, but Star Trek: Nemesis was awful. Unlike His early work, the emotion of the music seems to be lost in a barrage of klangy, swishy computer noises. But he's s...

That's what I meant by a big difference. Stylistically, they're worlds apart. Anyways, back to John Williams, I just picked up his Attack of the Clones soundtrack on the cheap. It amazes me how the man can make even a bad film sound great. And shock horror, I could swear I heard an electric guitar u...

I think the distorted guitar was done because I ran out of ideas. I felt that the tune being repeated over and over would be boring, so I pulled out the distortion pedal. The lazy approach. :D To be honest I think I just overreacted to Eliot calling it junk. Fair enough, its his opinion, but listeni...

DL2. It isnt that bad, is it?

What does a heavy distorted guitar do into an "romantic river epic" remix? Sadently, it infears with a really nice attempt of this tune. I guess everyone would be grateful if you will remove this "junk" and upload this tune again Due this heavy distoreted guitar I can only give ...

Yeah, the movie soundtrack is not the same as the games. Quite a big difference between the two. At the risk of sounding like a total spod, you could check out the game soundtracks. Nothing as spectacular as the film, but some pretty hypnotic melodies. :)

Ahh, if you're going to learn, learn from the best. JW has pretty much dominated film scores. I think I've got about twelve different albums of his work from various movies, and a couple of compilations. Markus, have you heard of Elliot Goldenthal? He's one of my favourites. Especially his work on F...

The title tune is actually a DEVO song called "Some things never change". Its off their last decent album, "Total Devo" which featured a logo made on an Commodore Amiga!
Hmm, you learn something new every day!

I really quite like it. I think the quality of the remixes varies somewhat, but overall, fairly solid. Especially considering its mostly just sid and drums. I especially love Acidgroove (Orchestral Remix), and both of the Times of Lore remixes. I found Neuromancer to be the only big disapointment, n...

Sounds good, and I'd like to hear that remix of Neuromancer. Big fan of that tune. And any Times Of Lore music is good too.

Cant wait.

Sorry, I've no plan to do the title tune. Perhaps you should ask Glyn R Brown, because he's the only person I think could do that tune justice.

And thinking about it, could you imagine how weird a guitar version of that track would be anyway?

Cheers guys, although I'm really not too familiar with Mike Oldfeild. Only know Tubular Bells. I knew these two would fare slightly better when I compared them to my first Dragons Lair 2 remix. That sounded good to me at the time, but in comparison... Ugh, its horrible isnt it? DHS: You really made ...
