Hmm can't say I can help, I use the Audigy 2 - but I dont use it to record @ 24bit - do you mean record an external source @ 24-bit? Or do you mean process sound (eg VSTs) @ 24bit?

Just in case I misunderstand you: VSTi are realtime generated instruments - anything for basic analogue synths to hugemongous instrument banks using multi gb. There's a similar topic elsewhere on this forum - personally I use Renoise - but if you're looking for a more traditional sequencer I might recommend Cubase 2sx - since at least its got native support for VSTs as opposed to that DXi nonsense.
