That's fine, both home and production setups can be listed, although the primary focus should probably be the home listening setup. The more specific the better, rationale and relevant links also of interest.

I find active speakers sort of interesting. I imagine the perfect speaker would have a digital filter splitting the discrete source signal into bands for each driver, each separately converted to continuous form and amplified. I haven't heard many active monitor speakers though.

My next speaker will likely be the DALI Coupé very neutral and analytic and yet still forgiving.

YESS but front speakers not so close for a better stereo sound ! (don't need to put them on the circle)...

therefore, to listen to stereo music, I prefer the "super-stereo" than suround sound like prologic etc...

Ok, due to exoskeletors :) personal request, here is my home stereo:

- Selfbuild Mivoc speakers with 4 impressed cones, redesigned and customized by the chubby hands of specialized rugrats
- Onkyo Integra R1 Amplifier that changes input channels by case, redesigned and customized by the chubby hands of specialized rugrats
- Pioneer DV-535 DVD-player that automatically retracts the loading drawer everytime you try to put in a disc, redesigned and customized by the chubby hands of specialized rugrats
- Technics SL-P477A CD-player (still works!!)
- TechniSat Digicorder T1 DVB-T Receiver/HD-Recorder (still works!!)

Amp : Technics New Class A, 2 Technics speakers (60W)...
I will never sold them...

I have also an pioneer vsx100 5.1 with an infocus video projector to watch movies...pictures incoming (I need to arrange first) hehe

Gibs: I bet they sound better than the average PC speakers though. Funny, kind of cool looking PC casemods. :)

Well, these are not the seats I tend to use. Especially when listening or watching... :)
