some kind of corruption has caused the messageboard database to collapse. Fortunately there is a backup, but it was from friday so we lose another two days worth of posts. I'm terribly sorry for this, but such things are of course beyond control.
Seems there's bad karma over us.
At least the Remix64 main site and the C64Audio.com databases don't seem to have been affected by this, fortunately.
No need to apologise Markus. I'm sure I speak for us all here when I say we appreciate that things can go wrong from time to time. It's the work involved getting things back to normal that no-one sees that is certainly most appreciated.
LMan: but anyways, it seems as if I'm not getting email notifications about subscribed threads again, and I'm still waiting for an answer regarding the avatar I wrote about in another topic? ... perhaps you missed it?
About the avatar: I don't want them to take more space or bandwidth than nessecary. There still are visitors with lower screen resolutions, or lower bandwidth.
Don't know what's wrong with the stupid notification thingies though.
LMan: the problem with the notification seemed to have been fixed by itself then ... It's works fine today
I don't get what you're saying about the avatar size though... it's perfectly possible to make 25kb avatars in 120*160... the (========64) graphics has that width anyway, and most topics are so "high" that a mere 160 in height is not cluttering up on even a small display (I'm on 1024*768 by the way which is the smallest I believe the internet is up for these days?)
I'm not complaining about your decicion, just telling you that I do not understand your reasoning for dissing the idear

Besides, Analog X; You're violating the forum rules! such things as nudity is not allowed in here! .... LMAN!!! WE HAVE A DEAL-BREAKER HERE!!!!
I didnt violate any rules.. you are naked under you're cloths aren't you??
Dumper: Frantically I do not even know what a "Razmo" look like ... can it really be naked?
Now I'm not sure what "Razmo" we are refering to, but if it's the LIVE version (me that is), then I don't really think that the scare factor is much different on a bad morning
But hey!? ... Am I not a bit off-topic in this thread? ... afterall, I was not here when the faults started (remember? I wrote that!) ... How can it be me, if I'm not posting?
