Yeah, a new beginning definetly.
I Had alot of music that was pretty important and is likely to confuse a few people in its absence....BUT soon as buzz get their website to work again ill be back on my feet :-D.

Losing Music is a great loss though especially if its something you did that is unique and personal to yourself it never comes out the same way again So I send some of my tunes out to sea with a sad but brave face on, get out the coffee and i start again.

Did i mention i was sitting here and thinking to myself when i read drf's comments.......this sorta thing always happens in 3's and lo n behold!

2 germans and an englishman stuck in the same boat.
gonna do wonders for international relations :-D lolol.

You sure it's the HD that's gone? Could be something else (much else actually!)... unless you've tried plugging the HD into a different PC and not getting anything...

If you turn on the PC and the drive just sits there clicking to itself, it's trying to initialise, and cant. If so, you need a new PCBA (hard drive controller card)... copy the exact details of the drive from the sticker on top and goto a pc store, find one thats the same, buy it, take i home and swap the pcba boards - VOILA data recovered, working drive.

Because of the magnetic nature of hard drives, unless the FAT got mulched, chances are good that ur data is still there.

Failing thius method I can point you toward some decent data recovery centres - beware though, this is VERY costly.

Hi Infamous!

There are many ways to get back your datas from this HDD. Don't give up man!
Could be help a control panel change.
Or try to power up your computer many many times, maybe your HDD could warm up.
Or try to hit your HDD gently several times. :)
Maybe you should pray for a day. :D
But don't give up!
OR! Send me your bad HDD. I'll try to fix it. :!:

GOOD LUCK!
