Tas is in actual fact the thirteenth zodiac sign but was so insignificant that ancient astrolegors decided not to bother including him in the zodiac system. This also explains why astrology is so utterly inaccurate these days.

Thunderer is in fact the norse god Thor but remains incognito 'coz he is annoyed that other religions took the lead... and after that whole thing with Loki he doesn't want to be bothered anyway...

1337 is an extraordinarily intelligent jelly fish cultivated in a jelly fish farm in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean by a jelly fish farmer called Jim, who is affectionately known as Jim the Jelly Fish Farmer. This explains 1337 nickname or should I say real name, because jelly fish don't have real names, they are assigned with numbers. In 1337's case she was the 1337th jelly fish to be born this year.
(I just read all of that and what a load of crap I've written. Oh dear.)

Thunderer has gotten his nickname from his schoolmates, in reference to the sounds of his... ehrm... flatulence.
