Manchester sounds ideal. Partly because it hasn't been held there earlier, partly because there's loadsa nice things to do in town when you're not shaking it like a white girl at the venue.

Of course, that's all assuming Waz still has that spare bedroom. =)

Sounds cool, even if provisional at this time.

Now we just need to get RKO back on track before September. =)

So much for a "guided tour of the software companies" daytime event. =)

Just out of interest, Subby, what do you have against London? Do you hate it soooo much that you'll deprive yourself of a BIT Live? Actually, you wouldn't have been able to show off anything, since there's no exhibition portion to this one. Well, OK, there will probably be some C64s and Amigas, but not in huge quantities.

Every BIT apart from Brighton didn't have a day event ;-)

The exhibition was fun, but it wasn't essential to the experience, and frankly it almost killed me (and cost a lot more than it brought in). I would have had a lot more fun without it!

This time we've got the (a) Friday designated pub, (b) rehearsals of PPOT and SID 80s (assuming they can make it of course! I've got to hit the phones now!!).

Who knows where it will go from here? Basically there will probably be space for 200 people, so we're kind of counting on NOT everybody from Brighton turning up ;-)

hehe. i know i've always harped on about donny, but i know it's not realistic. well not unless you want cheap beer and loose women ;) oh! and a dose of the aids ;)

Tho i'm one of those Anti london people i have to say i won't boycot an event held there, even tho i hate the place.

At the end of the day if Bitlive was held on the moon i'd be there, despite the high travel costs ;)

anyway if the rumors true then chris is gonna organise a SID shuttle to the moon :)

Have to say I'm not a huge fan of London myself, but it is closer to where I live. It does suffer from the fact that it's London though and all the massive price hiking that goes with it.

London = Statiatical & Logistical Nightmare for anyone in the Norf' - I got lucky at BL3 as i slept on a bench next to the thames and it didnt rain. What i can tell u is that theres no way in hell im doing that again... thats the reason i didnt goto the Bouffy meetup.

Sorry guys; but if i cant get my car there n park for a reasonable cost, I cant do it.

Maybe i can take some beer over to Donny and slap some remix cd's on and have a party there instead :)

Sorry chaps...

But I would have thought that Brighton was worse logistically than London in all respects: it's further away from the North, you've got to go through or round London, and the accommodation is as expensive as London... at least all roads, trains and planes lead into London... Cheap tickets to London are a lot easier to get on the train if you book in advance, too.

And apparently there are some people who _like_ London... amazing but true!

Why not get the train? If you book in advance online you can often get some really cheap fares. Maybe you should hook up with Tas and the gang and all come down on the train? Also, you could book into the cheap studenty accommodation, too.
