Hola!

Been away for awhile, and I'm happy to see all the input here :) I know I'd get lots of useful tips from you guys. Also happy that RKO has some new stuff up - I've been getting pretty desperate for new remixes lately!

@FeekZoid:

Anything on RKO you made using the N5? I really enjoy your remixes, particularly the Platoon one. Hope I can get something sounding that cool someday :)

lol - that seems to be one of my least liked tracks!

N5 features in:

Armakuni's Journey - plucks, synthpad, just about everything, some XG.

Orchestral Synth Ninja - again most instruments, choir, lead, timpani, piano + Soundfonts, XG. N5 noteable in this track for e-guitar at end.

Savage - Mostly N5+soundfonts.

Meanwhile the planet, lots of N5 filtery instruments.

Microprose Soccer - All N5 except for Galway-zokks etc.

Something stranger:Lots of soundfonts, but N5 is the guitar, drums, pads/chords, choir and piano.

The Analogue Ninja: N5 = everything! (except for sharp bass from 1:49 = soundfont)

The Vindicator:Cool distortbass, pulsebass, strings, pads =N5.

Tusker:Woo-lead, choirs, woggawoggabass, distortguitar, synthpad = N5

As you can see it was heavily used! Less so the more recent the tunes got, compared to the last one - Desert Dream - which had no N5 in it whatsoever, but used as the master midi keyboard.

There's a lot of my other work (original stuff) which I host on me site (but not visible yet) which used the N5, including a cover of "RedMax" (an early version of which did the rounds online)

The N5 is an excellent instrument, with loads of great sounds, and the ability to synth some new ones up too, and even download alternative patch banks too.
