Hi again,

settle down, please. The point here is that it really doesn't matter if anyone thinks your tune should be on RKO, for the voiced reasons. The question you should ask is: "Does our tune rock? [Yes/No]".

That would be a question I would answer with yes.

Thanks! A simple answer :)

And we ARE going to remaster it. The problem is that the same song can sound SO different in different speakers/headphones. But problems are there to be solved.

Don't have a problem with the track myself. As mentioned before, I've heard a lot worse out there. Sure it can be improved... like most of the tracks imho..

Ok, now I want to throw in my two cents worth (hope this is the correct idiom):
I can understand Jan's decision because mainly the remix is badly mixed in my opinion.
And it is also right that there are remixes on kwed that sound even worse,
but that is only Jan's decision as said before.
To pragmatically give u help for not being rejected a second time:
The drums are far to low and don't have any impact, the lead instrument at about 0:51 is far too loud, everything is lacking bass.
I personnally hate distorted guitars that aren't played thru an amp or at least a good amp modeler, but that depends on one's personal preferences. Overall including the static midi-drums it sounds like a typical "homerecording".
I'm sorry, I didn't want to put you off, just give u help for your next try.

hello..

We did not have the tools to record the guitar in any other way at that time (Zoom 707 : Tupperware) so we can't do much about that but i for one think it turned out pretty okay but volumes and stuff are to be remastered.

Do you think this song should be in the kwed or not.. ??
YES or NO.. how hard can it be ??
If Jan says No, then I guess no, it shouldn't.

Look. You wrote your request for public opinion a bit "misleading". If everyone misenetrpriates your message it's probably something wrong with the message rather than the enterpritations.

That said, I find the track to be ok. Not bad, not excellent. It's a good idea, and pretty well arranged but not that well mixed. I also think the drums sound a bit weak. It definitely doesn't suck like vacuum, just like a mosquito. ;)

Amp Modeller.

I have recently bought Line6 Pod 2.0
so there is going to be more quality on the guitar from now on.

Well with that said..
I'm off recording some guitar.. bye.
