Reminds me of my military term where they kept to say that I should "cover their ass" which was quite strange as I was usually second man right after the scout and more of a rusher personality. Thank god, I never seen real combat.

This is a much belated hello to everyone who has downloaded the track and responded to this thread coming from the anonymous bassplayer of the Parafondo remix.

A couple of years ago, under the moniker of 'doomanth' I made some very raw amateur mixes filled with love for the C64 that were understandably rejected. I think at first I found this to be somewhat intimidating and perhaps slightly elitist to a point, so I took a long break from the remixing scene completely, only dropping by now and again to download a few tunes and read a thread here or there.

But when my friend Are Be told me that his mix had been accepted, I was extremely glad to have finally snuck something small of my own creativity, onto RKO that others have accepted and enjoyed.

I actually had already made my own little funk ditty fruityloops mix of Moon Patrol and began discussions with Are Be on the possibility of doing something together on it. But he had his own wonderful ideas which superceded my expectations completely. Hopefully he and I can collaborate again sometime soon.

Its great that RKO is still going strong and that friendly discussions are so lively here.
