Ah just tested the Cranesong STC-8, it would fit perfectly in between the Gyraf (warm) and the SSL (punchy) being sweet & smooth. My wallet tells me otherwise right now..

Hm, the API looks damn nice too. It's also one of those machines that keep popping up on various high end forums.

I love the warm API sound , i am really thinking about an API mixer....
