Would that I could print 'em huge and sell 'em for tuppence.

It's a bit of a last minute idea (To whit: This is actually all Kenz's fault ;) )

I know there'll be tonnes of stuff to buy there, and that given the way of the world we're all feeling the squeeze at the moment. That's (1) why I wanted to give people a bit of warning, and (2) Why I want to see about doing some line-art shirts as well, which should be relatively inexpensive, and yet really quite cool in a sort of minimalist kinda way.

I wanna share the luuuuuurve... 'n'stuff....

Hehe, was it me saying "You've GOT to make a rendered version of the Sanxion artwork, I *NEED* one on my wall" that started all this madness perchance? ;)

(Apologies for any lack of sleep this may have caused).

Yup :) Then I said "Well, if I'm going to all that effort anyway, we might as well see if we can flog a few copies to like-minded souls who'd get a kick out of having a Bogly interpretation of one of the defining, classic pieces of '64 Artwork by the imaging equivalent of Rob Hubbard (that being Oli Frey) on their walls.

So we'll see, won't we? If they sell well, I'll see about doing a bigger, cheaper run of stuff... if they don't sell at all, then at least I've got the intro shot for the animation partially set up :)

Oh, I should also point out that these will be the only ever ones which look like this. Should I flog all of these, I'll do a larger run (which means cheaper for me, and cheaper for you), but Derek the Dalek will be going to Fezzy Heaven and replaced with a more boring, but less potentially litigious, TADS/PNVS optics cluster, and the pilot will be different. So these ones are absolutely limited and an act of pure whimsy.

Ooh, I can see I may have to be elbowing a few peeps out of the way for some of this quality limited edition gear. :D

I'll be the one probably camping outside the entrance, just to get my place in the queue.

Do I get a free dose of armpit suffocation with every purchase?

It's those extra touches by your friendly neighbourhood proprietor that make these events worthwhile.....

I'm slightly startled by this, but I'm up to 8 pre-orders.... erm.

I'm going to sell 10 on the day, though.

Right... final preview of the poster. Only ten will be available on the day, which is odd, 'cause I wasn't expecting a slew of people to dive at me.... !

Do you have anymore work like that? I also frequent a 3D Site called rednerosity in the Bryce 3D Forums they would love to see something of that work.

Analogue:

I do this for what I laughingly refer to as "A Living", so I've got fair old wodges of this stuff in my 'folio.

I'm seriously considering extending the print-run to 30, given the level of interest people are putting in. That whole "Exclusivity" thing is all well and good, but I'd rather put another 10 in the run than have people wandering around unhappy 'cause they didn't get one.

Still seriously considering it. Not from a wallet point of view, the fact of keeping it in one piece and good condition travelling back sans car from the event!

Will the posters be wrappable into a cardboard tube? If so, and someone can supply a tube, I'll defo have one then ;)

(only fitting as I supplied the original artwork for Bog to use heh)

*eyebrow*

Surely that was Oli Frey?

I'll be shopping for tubes to put 'em in, yeah. Yay for the new branch of FedEx/Kinko's right next to my bank!

Okay, the big scan of the original artwork for you to use ;)

Anyhow, tubetastic for protection if you can supply it :)
