I'm sorry if my taste is a bit more refined than that Vosla. :P

You know what they said about the Fischer-Chöre (choirs)?
If so much people in one place can't sing properly, it may sound good anyway...

No, I didn't know that one, but allow me to generalize.

Something is good, ergo everything is good, ergo nothing is bad.

I think that's a valid inference based on facts at hand. But if nothing is bad, then something is not good, ergo everthing is not good, ergo everything is bad. Hmmm... I sense a problem with my logic. Way OT, excuse me fellas.

And also this post started in a way and finished in nothing.

Well, whatever.

If you are looking for an "INTERESTING" SID to remix then I would suggest Richard Joseph's - Rimrunner.

I've been trying to do something with this myself as it's not a standard 4/4 beat but could work as a Dance Remix (e.g. Jakatta - American Dream), Electronica (e.g. Vangey - 3x3) or whatever... and as far as I know it's not been attacked before :)

As an example to see if a Dance (what else!) remix would work this is what I came up with: http://www.djskitz.com/Rimrunner.mp3

Despite what yesterdays onslaught of RKO releases suggests, I've had all things remix on the back-burner for the past couple of weeks. And things will probably continue that way at least until the end of next week. Real life's been rather taxing as of late. :(

But if people can live with no proper prizes except having your work featured on the show, I'll gladly do a formal Take-away jingle/sweeper/stinger/whatever "compo" announcement once things get back to normal. :D

Mind you, looking back I also posted that people are always more than welcome to submit material - even if its not for a compo. And that didn't spark anyones interest.
