Man, that review annoyed the crap out of me (so much so that I wrote my first for this site in about a year).

This is a top remix, and it's exactly what the scene needs, in order to survive, instead of yet another bloody straight SID/MIDI mix with new instruments.

Breakdance being another, of course :)

Personally I think Rob's "Shockway Rider" (Which you own Chris!) has an excellent hook for a pop remix - but I've never got very far remixing this... it's a tricky SID to tackle!

Who is up for the challenge :D

Hey, you're right... those chords at the beginning are pretty good for a chorus.

Shockway Rider..mmm...it has somekind of a rock-a-Billy feeling.
<scribbles something in his notepad....>

I was gonna try and be clever and translate what you had scribbled into your notepad in German but it is actually funnier when you translate the babble fish back into english:

"Shockway passenger has it any kind rock in skirt feeling"

WTF :)

I think Skitz meant he took your phrase and went:

English -> German -> English

I took the phrase "I crapped all over the bad reviewers"

German translation:
"Ich crapped ganz über den schlechten Rezensenten"

English translation of the translation:
"I crapped completely over the bad rezensenten"

Which isn't too bad, but sounds funnier when it's been translated twice.

And when you put that phrase through Chinese, you get:

"My crapped in bad completely rezensenten"

Incidentally Romeo, that review you don't like makes a lot more sense when it's translated through Korean and then Chinese.

} didn { ' T completely likes one matter. It is borne the criticism which this fact it guesses is not my matter. This music aspect is any is specially inside leh ess complete, but my opinon. Feels it is

A bit Yodaish actually.

Wasted time, believe me.
You can't expect anything from the brain of someone bashing your tune because "he doesn't like rap", "metal", "techno", and so on.

They don't evaluate the track itself (creativity, technical skills, arrangement, ideas, and so on). Nope.

They show us their musical "belonging", something no one can really give shit about.

Who loves music, has no preconcepts about genres. Only limited minds have them.

Not to talk about other comments on the tune...
I like most of Romeo Knight's remixes but i didn't like this one, whenever i hear rap or hip-hop it's all so similar and i want to hear talent and someone with a great voice, not just someone talking which almost everyone on the planet can do. I gave an average vote because the overall tune just did not appeal to me but i wouldn't give it any lower because i know Romeo i one of the best remixers here and has a good talent. I don't class myself as an idiot nor do i have a limited mind and different opinions is what makes life interesting.

typical message from Eliott when there is electric guitare on a cover : "badly overdriven" :clap:

Dumper : Try to "spoke" like they do (beastieboys, eminem or others) and call me back when you succeed ! :wink:
you don't have idea how it's difficult. I'm more into rock/metal than rap, but I respect those kind of singers and their music. :wink:

And this explains pretty much everything.
