That's fine, both home and production setups can be listed, although the primary focus should probably be the home listening setup. The more specific the better, rationale and relevant links also of interest.

I find active speakers sort of interesting. I imagine the perfect speaker would have a digital filter splitting the discrete source signal into bands for each driver, each separately converted to continuous form and amplified. I haven't heard many active monitor speakers though.

My next speaker will likely be the DALI Coupé very neutral and analytic and yet still forgiving.

Very good! :)
But you should turn both speakers a little bit to the center,
just like here Image in a surround setup.
YESS but front speakers not so close for a better stereo sound ! (don't need to put them on the circle)...

therefore, to listen to stereo music, I prefer the "super-stereo" than suround sound like prologic etc...

exoskeleton, you're room is beautiful !

This looks promising: true stereo. Going to try one of their recordings.

Ah, I forgot the most important thing to mention: There's a second pair of speakers in the bathroom.

Gibs: I bet they sound better than the average PC speakers though. Funny, kind of cool looking PC casemods. :)
Romeo: Hm, thanks for your detailed description.

Well, these are not the seats I tend to use. Especially when listening or watching... :)

@RomeoKnight : Seats as acoustic panels or bass traps I guess :)

I have a cheap dell 5.1 system with my SB 7.1 live. Not glamorous but they do their job (partly) :)
