I remember the ones at BITL3 .. sadly they fell off after about 10 mins..

..I tried everything but they just kept falling off my forehead (HEAD tisk.. rude people)..

Badges are ok but some people feel a bit foolish wearing them, sod knows why.. still there you are.. How about at the next one when the tickets are checked you given a badge, at BITL3 they were errr.. on the bar and someone ended up wearing about 5 at one point lol..

Still great event.. no just need to save more money for next year..

Oh and the guy with the T-Shirts, bring MORE next year LOL

Film "UHF" - Wierd Al Yankovyc ?

It was a play on words from a Bogart film called "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre."

Actual words were : "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"

:)

I am sure you will sleep better tonight knowing the answer ;-)

I think it was also used in BLAZZING SADDLES (Mel Brookes)

:)

"I would like to offer our new sheriff a Laurel and Hardy handshake ......" - CLASSIC STUFF

Indeed - the Mexicans signing up to Heddy ("That's HEDLEY!") Lamarr's "Bad Boys" gang...

IMHO, the Best Film Gag *ever* is in that movie - The newly appointed sheriff, riding into the distance accompanied by a big band soundtrack...the camera swings round, and he rides past the Count Basie Orchestra sitting on a bandstand in the middle of a desert...it gets me *every* time.

Ben.

heh heh ........ it is a SUPERB film :-)

I know it's a little childish, but the "Farting Campside" scene cracks me up everytime :-))

Wrote half of it (up to the event), then studies demanded a lot of time, then thought I was getting to much into detail but not having the energy to trim and edit the report.

Oh, and I caught the flu off someone at school on Thursday so I've been excused all weekend. :(
