Probably fits in the weird category, but when I lived in Japan I loved this corny series of commericals for Suntory Ice Gin. All of them have little plays on words in the tunes, like America-JIN (American) - and have catchy annoying tunes that stick in your head.

Yes - they just celebrate the commercial part though and it is usually more of a couples / romantic thing.
