PJ Harvey - Dress
(especially as I saw her live on Saturday at the Bridgewater Hall - she was awesome, and played this, my all time favourite of hers. Guess who was a happy little one?)

last.fm is truly a treasure trove for discovering great music.
I just found this little piece (amongst others)...
It just has a very cool chill out style I like, although it flattens a bit out and becomes a tad monotonic.
But lots of these findings this evening.
...Hang on, now it just changed tempo from chill out to uptempo indie style.
Hangon again... it's even freee mp3 download.

This just gets better and better.

That's good, but it's actually not as good as Supermassive Black Hole on the same album - the guitar sounds sooooo dirty on that. In fact, it was my Single of the Year for 2006 (see reviews bit of my website in the www link) - but Starlight is quality.
I still have that Top of the Pops interactive concert somewhere recorded onto DVD in nice high quality, that roxxor!

I occassionally trawl the internet in an attempt to find Muse citing C64 music as an influence in some interview somewhere, but I can never find anything.
I'm sure *someone* in that band had a C64, as some of their basslines and chord changes have a real C64 sound to them...
MUSE - OWN UP DAMMIT! I KNOW YOU LOVE THE C64!!!
