 i am one of the biggest BJÖRK Fans and currently i'm listening to the new Longplay Medúlla ...
It's georgous , especially "where is the line" & "desired constellation" !
If you hate Björk be warned , after listening to this Album you will hate her music much more
I love it , even when it was really difficult to listen to the first time, but after the 3'rd try it worked for me.
yeah, a bit great off-topic here but i needed a place to talk about :)

Not heard it yet, but I will check it out...I'm not a Björk fan, but I'm a big Mike Patton fan, and since he's on one of the tracks I'll have to check it out. ;)

Used to be a massive fan, but over the years, I've found her music harder and harder to listen to. Debut and Post were great, but after that, nope. The remix album Telegram was my first buy. The big orchestral version of Isobel was it for me. Great stuff.

I did buy her last album, listened to it once and never again. I can't even remember what it's called.

Yeah, I loved her at the beginning (had a little crush on her too...) but haven't really kept up with her other stuff, and even Post couldn't live up to the transcendence of Debut, for me.

When I first saw her in the Human Behaviour with that tear looking all cuddly, and when she was doing her thing in "Venus as a boy"... makes you go all soft inside :)

Talking of Mike Patton Makke, ever hear his version of Black Flag's "Six Pack" that he did as part of the "Rise Above" album (basically Rollins Band with lots of different lead vocalists covering Black Flag stuff for charity)? That rocks!

Back to Bjork: I thought she lost it after a couple of albums (I really really hate her cover of It's Oh So Quiet), but there's still something unique about her music that makes people sit up and listen - the song at the Olympics ceremony was rather nice.

For those of you with high end audio setups, note the new Bjork album's out on DVD-Audio. Might yet give that a spin myself. For those interested:

Yes, I've heard it. And I think I actually prefer the Patton version to the original. :)

I'm not a loyal fan but I do like some of her songs.

"All is full of love" being one of them.

Björk's "There's more to life than this" - that's a great one. And such a cute accent as well!

Debut was one good "produced" song - the play dead-thingy. And then 9 weird, but cool songs. I bought it for the Play Dead song, but the rest of the songs was in no way close to the David Arnold production! All of them sounded rather home-made to me!

Anyway, I'm glad I don't live with her!
