What?!? DHS, you're selling your Virus? That's like Kenz selling his flatulence!

You replacing it with the New Virus TI?

I'm ordering the keyboard version of TI too, I've long wanted a decent non-VST synth again to have quick access to when the inspiration strikes. It's just that after moving strictly to VST world the old way seems kinda, well, old :)

The TI seems to solve that sw/hw dilemma pretty nicely.

don't forget the sound creation side is purely hardware... the "VST" part is controller software only....

Out of all the virtual analoge synths I've heard (I own a Supernova) the Virus knocks them all for 6.

Now THAT gives me an idea for an eBay auction - 1 jar of genuine bum-smell.

Control and audio interface for the hardware, yes. Ah, no more sysex dumps...

If it wasn't for some slight problems with the user interface, I'd have already bought the Alesis ION. In my opinion it has the best VA sound of 'em all, but the TI concept and other Virus features are more important. I had the Virus Rack Classic some time ago but I sold it when I moved to VSTs.
