Could it be, that tim follin covered this song in Black Lamp Subtune#3 ?
Im not entirely sure, i dont have the original song to compare to. i was just listening to smoothjazz.com and i heard this jethro tull song (to be honest, i dont know that much jethro tull (AQUILON maybe) but when i heard that "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" i was sure i had heard it on some c64 track before.

Any hints ?

Black Lamp subtune #3 is as far as I know a Bach tune called "Bourré", implemented in a swing tempo.

.. which got re-arranged by Jethro Tull on their album "Stand Up", which is the version that Follin is covering (Tim's a bit of a fan, you see.)

Incidentally, I've heard Ben Daglish play Bouree live as part of Cold Flame's Jethro Tull tribute set, and let's just say he was a bit good to say the least.
