Today, the machine hosting the SLAY Radio pages (c64.org) went down. That's why you don't see the usual SLAY Radio banner up there to the right.

I am working on bringing it back online as soon as possible.

For those who cannot life without and haven't saved the listen.pls file:

create a file named (e.g.) slayradio.pls and put following text into it:
-------------------------------------------
[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=1
File1=http://radio.c64.org:8000/
-------------------------------------------

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Or simply click ADD->ADD URL in the PlayList window in Winamp, and just enter the URL.
Sounds (and is) heck of a lot easier than doing all that stuff with creating a file and such. 8)

Or go to http://www.ovine.net and download StuC's nice little SLAY player

Oh, heck. That looks like my SLAYPlay app should've done. =)
Well, since this is also based on the bass.dll file and has the same features including a volume control, I don't feel very compelled to advance on SP any more. 8)

Maybe I should go for a "no-dll-needed" version written in W32 assembler (wich I'm currently trying to learn) instead.

It's certainly what I use now.

Sonic's was/is excellent and works just fine but, personal choice is that, at the moment, I prefer StuC's effort. Given the amount of avatar changes I have done, it's likely I'll load up Sonic's player in a few months time. :lol:

Whoever gets there first with a "no-dll-needed" version would make me change my player in all likelihood. :)

As you may have noticed, the banner thingy works again (well, almost), so no URL to follow...
So I'll just double post stuff somewhere around here... I'll start a new thread though...
It can be found here: viewtopic.php?t=2251
