Just a quick post to say thanks to Chris and Mark for organising the event. We had a great time and the concert was great :)

Thanks also to the musicians who obviously had as good a time as the audience.

And finally, thanks to the people I met and talked to. It was good finally meeting and seeing so many people that I have either heard about or briefly talked to on IRC. Apologies to those that I didn't talk to as I am a reasonably shy guy and didn't know where to start a conversation. Case in point - *how* do you say anything to Rob Hubbard apart from "you and maybe one or two other guys are the reason i'm here" :)

Apologies for rambling and talking bollocks in the pub on Friday :( I hope to see (and talk more) to you guys next time!

And yes - seeing Jon Hare playing Cannon Fodder on the PSP was definitely a highlight :)

I had exactly that problem, so I tried "Hi Rob - you don't know me. Pint?"

"Stella, please!"

And then we had a smashing chat, trading freelancer war-stories. Fucking top bloke and approachable as anything.

Amazing how effective "Pint?" is :)

I think I'll try that next time :)

Should we make "Pint" the universal greeting ?

Silly moments...

* Diving off onto the bed, only to bounce off it and onto the floor *

* Being introduced to Matt Cannon and saying "Didn't you do Cannon Fodder". No idea why i said that! ;)*

* taking a photo of trooper in the loo *

* Dan having his photo taken with Mr Hubbard with his tongue out*

* Getting Mr Hubbard very drunk *

* Giving a complete stranger a great big hug *

* Going the wrong direction for 2 miles before realising *

I'm sure there's many more...

I didn't, I got him to sign the inlay on both copies of the CD I bought at that very place in the booklet ;-)

Tim Follin on the back and Rob Hubbard in the middle - excellent!
