Commodore Remix

I've just started an Amiga Demo Video Podcast.

There is a H.264 and DivX versions of the demos.

At the moment there's only the one demo on there, but I have a spare 25GB of storage to use.

I'm planning on (once i have enough viewers) making a poll to vote for the next demo and stuff like that.

Some ideas :
- Add the corresponding demo as an image ?
- Amiga longplays ( like http://www.c64-longplays.de.vu/ ) would be a great idea too.
- You could also use some intros for the cast

Tips for the next issue :
- Odyssey ?
- Killing game show intro ( the first disc of the game was only a demo )

What do you mean by corresponding demo image, cos I already have a screen grab from the demo in the post?

Dunno about the long plays, maybe an idea for later.

And waht do you mean by intros?

He probably means that you add download links to the demos themselves. Intros are just like demos except they typically are less than 64 K so the challenge is to make something interesting using no space.

With images i mean the disc-image of the demo ( adf format ), for use in an emulator.
And with intro i mean the intro's of the hack/crack groups, which they made to identify which games they ripped.

Great idea. But you might want to create seperate feeds for each video format. Not everyone who'se interested in this has a video iPod (although using one to store demos on should be enough to make anyone want one ).

i converted it for use on the PSP ... who needs an ipod ?

Yes I'm looking at doing a separate feed for the DivX version, as someone has already suggested that they would like it as the main feed (as they use an Amiga).

I have now put up the voting system, for the next demo. So if you could go over and vote for which of them you'd like to see (you'll need to register on the forums to vote).

I was thinking about including the demos themselves as ADF/ADZ images.

Most likely ADZ's, as they are smaller
