Laser Quest 64

I was taking my son John to a birthday party today in Laser Quest Croydon, and it turns out that you can give them the music to play during the 20 minute sessions if you book the place: so the possibility of playing Laser Quest to pumping c64 remixes becomes a reality. Parties are for between 2-28 people (obviously at £195 a pop at the weekend it's more cost-effective to have 28 people).

Anyway, is this something anyone else would be interested in? There's a Premier Inn right next to the place, and a shitload of parking, though the event would take just an hour or so, so there'd have to be a pub visit to the pub right next to the Premier Inn and the Laser Quest place.

I'm just asking, s'all ;-)

How far has these lazor-gunneries come since the nineties? I remember being really disapointed of how "plastic" the event was, like playing shootout with your tv-remote. Then again, in good company that prolly doesn't matter?

Oh, I'm up for it... I don't even need a hotel as I'm local to Croydon ^.^

Croydon's not REALLY London... :) You'd have to go to Victoria, get a train to East Croydon and then catch a 119 bus.

We'd probably have to organise it into a proper meal and a Laser Quest... and some other filling activity. Another meal after the first one perhaps? :)
