If there are any sites offering video downloads that anyone knows of I'd really appreciate them as there were far more demos released than is on Mind Candy - we all have our own favourites and I'd love to compile mine

I found on here a link to Google videos showing a load of Amiga demos that had been converted to high quality videos.

Is there anywhere I can download these videos or ones similar? I can't download them from Google video...

I mean, songs in the charts would be easy to tell because they're so well known and it's obvious where the samples came from...

I have to agree with you there as well. I think some of it is also down to inspiration although how valid this point is I'm not sure - it's the only alternative reason I can think of. I've not made any tunes myself (only remixed) as I find it very hard to think of an original tunr that is any good. ...
