Re: WIP: 1st Remix - Druid 2
Hey guys I've been busy (had a baby!) and haven't been able to work on this one again. Once I get some free time & sleep hopefully I can continue!

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello, My name is David, born in '76 and live near Washington D.C. I was raised on the Atari 2600 ( boo hiss i know ) but was introduced to the C64 in High School in my Programming class in the early 90's. I've always been a big fan of video game music, and I think it's a genre that has been largely...

Re: I am surprised!! (Shredz64)
I emailed the guy running this projecta while ago.. hmm let me see: "Hey Man, Thanks for the note, I appreciate it. I listened to a few of the mixes on slayradio, they were pretty cool, I'll have to give it more of a listen. I love any music related to the commodore or amiga in any way (I used ...

Re: WIP: 1st Remix - Druid 2
Ok I've been working on this! I axed the horrible lead, and fell in love with the NN-XT. I still need to slice up the drums a bit, but please take a listen to the newest version of my Druid Track here: http://7thpixel.net/media/music/Druid_2 ... d_WIP3.mp3

Re: What sequencing package do you use? Rsn, FL, Cbs, Renoise?
I use Reason almost exclusively now, and supplement it with SoundForge. I can give you a definite "buyers beware" on the Edirol PCR 30 for a USB Midi Controller. NONE OF MY C KEYS WORK. It's failing with only moderate usage in less than 2 years. So I find myself laying down a track without...

Re: WIP: 1st Remix - Druid 2
I appreciate the feedback, and will work on the drums a bit. I'm still a noob with programming them in Reason, so I'm taking samples and reworking them till they sound better.
I do have a folder full of rap samples on one of my Data Becker CD's, maybe I can overlay them for fun

WIP: 1st Remix - Druid 2
Hello, I've been asking around for feedback on a Druid 2 Remix and this seems to be a good place to post it (other than IRC). I'm somewhat new to remixing, but it's very addicting and I'm learning as I go here. Currently I'm using Reason 4 and a small Edirol USB Controller as my setup. I chose Druid...

Re: whats wrong with my xml page??
Sometimes the feeds just timeout as well. I have the SlayRadio RSS feed on my blog but at times it says I cannot load it: http://www.slayradio.org/rss.php/shows.xml

Re: Cheer to the ROTY 2007 winners here!
Congrats to all the winners. The C64 remix community has such a positive vibe about it, and I'm sure you'll continue to attract newbie remixers along the way
