Re: Whats the difference between a remix and a cover version?
Interesting reading, and I think I will stick with that "Remix" is a catchphrase used by the community. Also that as long as it has artistic merit to it, it's all good. I do it for the creative process and to learn and develop my skills. When I start a "Remix" I don't think let's...

Re: Monkey Island Remix
Your absolutely right, never thought of it that way Skymarshall. They slap on labels and genres as they seem fit probably. My point was that the monkey island remix i'm reffering to is not a really good example of hardstyle music imo. Like Mordi said "Ugh. Hardstyle is not a good genre, and thi...

Re: Monkey Island Remix
I felt the urge to reply to this thread since I disagree with what you refer to as being hardstyle. There are three subgenres that has similarities. Jump/Hardstyle/Shuffle. That particular remix is not even close to hardstyle. It has elements from it but it's closer to jump or eurotrance. Hardstyle ...

Re: Listen to your own tunes?
In the beginning when I didn't polish my tracks that much I could stand them a bit longer but nowadays I put much more time into my tracks and get to hear them way too many times. So they are not very interesting to me anymore. But I go back to them to see what I could have done better or how to imp...

Re: Introduce yourself here!
Hello everyone! My name is Peter "W" and I live in Sweden, born in 73. I grow up with the 64 and played a crazy amount of games on it. Whenever me and my friends would try a new game I wanted to listen to the music at the title screen and also when the game ended I wanted to listen to the ...
