That's the same like MP2->analog->WAV->FLAC with a waste of 300MB filesize with minor quality loss due to resampling. But its surely better than 128kbit mp3.

I'm not sure what you mean. You can encode in any bitrate you'd like...I can record a crappy 96 kb/s mp3 also in 320 kb/s...but that won't create a better sounding file.
