Re: DeepSID and Chrome 89 / Edge 89 - FIXED
Good news all, Google have finally admitted that the issue was of their own making, and although it had been fixed in the dev (Canary) versions of Chrome 91, the public release of Chrome 91 is out. I'm delighted to report that DeepSID works correctly without issues. Updating MS Edge (Chromium) to ve...

DeepSID and Chrome 89 / Edge 89
Good afternoon folks, Just a heads up - if using Chrome 89 or Edge 89, DeepSID's playback suffers badly due to new changes put into the Chromium engine. If like me you find JCH's site very useful, he's now filed a bug in Chromium - please star at the top to increase the chance of them looking at it ...

Re: Who actually created the music?
I'm more surprised Mark Cooksey didn't get the Ghosts and Goblins drums into a fruit machine somewhere - that would be an iconic "I remember that!" moment for anyone playing said machine.

Re: Did you know?
Notably, the composer of the soundtrack for The Long Good Friday, Francis Monkman, was formerly of the band Curved Air and then the progressive band Sky, whose track "Hotta" was that covered by Antony Crowther in the title theme for Suicide Express: 7-i53oa5qZQ And Francis knocked up this ...

Re: Anyone know the source of this C64 mix?
Not sure who made this, but what I can identify is the following: At 3:24 is The Human Race, subtune 4, by Rob Hubbard. At 5:55 is Thalamusik (Sanxion Loader) by Rob Hubbard. At 6:41 is Noisy Pillars (tune 1), by Jeroen Tel. That may help you identify the remix if you're looking for notes on parts c...

Re: Retro Gamer Back Issues up for grabs
Hi folks, New job and all that working in London, so moved to Croydon (renting) just before Christmas last year. Hence the selling off of plenty of stuff on eBay and also selling my house in Manchester as well at the moment. In fact I found more issues so I had 95 back issues in all (from 25 to 121 ...

Retro Gamer Back Issues up for grabs
As part of a general clear out, I have 51 back issues of Retro Gamer magazine looking for a new home. The issues are: 25-55, 59, 76, 81, 82, 84, 85, 95, 96, 109-119, & 121. Plenty of C64 related content in those issues as well as other platforms. If you're interested (and much rather ship the lo...

Re: Mark Clements
Was there anything notable on there apart from the work disks of work tunes which I'd already recovered for HVSC? The Heatseeker version 1 particularly as he mentioned suited the game far better than the compromised piece he had to put in due to limited memory..

Re: Thanatos question - composer?
Just out of interest, you do have STILView enabled in your SID player, don't you? :) For those of you who don't know what I'm on about, certain SID players will allow you to view the information from the SID Tune Information List (STIL) when the SID is playing. For Sidplay2/Windows, check Settings /...

This might help - it's from the Church's own Facebook presence and also on their website: https://www.facebook.com/StGeorgesChurchConcerts/photos/pb.406634282835342.-2207520000.1425837814./415999235232180/?type=1&theater The stage is top middle of the shot, so the balcony view is probably either...
