It's now on my website as well, in the hope that people will discover the remix64 scene, who never heard about it before

Re: Extended Blackmail...
Yes an extended, someone asked if I could do one cause of the abrupt ending on the first one ;) I was one of the guys who requested an extended version! ;) Thank you very much! still *love* the remix, and the only thing I had to complain was the simple fade out, which doesn't work on electronica mu...

Re: SIDplay 1 Problems
No, you dont have the option to set either ntsc or pal when u run sids to the sidstation via sidplay 1 2.0 doesnt support sidstation :( "sidplay" plays the .sid files too fast, I believe the speed was ok when the program was running under Win98. ASID crashes under WinXP and ASID XP sends ...

Thanks again for your valuable input! Here is the beta version: -> shades_beta.mp3 Chords are (hopefully!) fixed, volumes are adjusted, vocal samples are better in sync with the beat, and some distortion has been eliminated. The lead sound is still the same, as a filter would make it too soft, there...

Thanks for the feedback so far! :) @Romeo Knight: I must say that I felt a little bit queasy during the decition to use the Shades Lead and Chords for such a style genre - as you already said: the original tune is really brilliant; I know it since the release in the german C64 magazine and love it s...

Shades (Beastie Dance Remix)
Hi, this is a preview version of a remix of Shades from Chris Huelsbeck: club style with some Beastie Boys vocal samples (Intergalactic). It still needs some mastering, but since this is the first time I'm going to finalize a dance song, I would like to read your oppinions. :) -> shades_alpha.mp3 (e...

Wazzaw, thank you for the comments, they saved my day :-) Vosla, currently the server reduces the download rate due to the high traffic (thats the problem with such 5 EUR/month offers). I've no idea where else I should host the file. Last time where I tried different free servers, the .mp3 was eithe...

JCH: No BÃÂrthday
Hi, after more than one year I felt that the time has come for making a new SID remix - I choosed No Birthday by JCH which is one of my most favourite tunes due to the catchy bassline (which therefore dominates the whole song). http://www.midibox.org/midibox_sid/No_Birthday!_(SID_Torture_Remix).mp3 ...

Hi Jess, I think that you don't need to program a completely new software engine just to implement such features. Why not integrating this into the existing MBSID engine and releasing it to the public? (thats the idea behind open source and especially of the GPL). Of course, nobody prevents you from...

Cool! :-) The only problem for now is that i have 2 JDMs, and, of course, none of them support the PIC18F452 format :( Time to buy another one i guess :-/ If you own a programmer based on the original plans from JDM, there is no need to buy a new one. See the troubleshooting topic of this page: http...
