Don't know what to say about these kinds of idiosyncrasies. We once got a review of LOADING READY RUN in the lines of "I hated the c64s sound and this record does not remedy that! Crap album!" What can I say, other than "sorry to hear that you cannot stand remixes with singing?" ...
