Re: Midwinter II
Maybe 2015 will see someone doing a Midwinter II remix ? With a bit of luck the original composer, Dave Lowe, may actually make a new version of this music! He is currently running a KickStarter project for a CD with remade versions of his Amiga / C64 / Atari game music. Check it out here: https://...

Re: Allister Brimble Amiga album pledge on Kickstarter
Allister's album has been released, I received my signed copy of "The AMIGA Works" last week!
For those who missed the original Kickstarter and are still interested in the album, it's now available on http://www.amigaworks.com/

Re: Midwinter II
babsimov, I see you're already hoping to find a remix of the Midwinter II title music for a very long time! Are you aware that a remix of this music was made back in 1992 already? It is included on the French video game music album "Toutes les musiques de l'émission Micro Kid's". The CD sh...

Video game music composer and surround sound guru Rik Ede is running a Kickstarter campaign to produce a 5.1 surround music DVD with music by (at least) 17 different video game music composers. Re: C64-, Amiga-tunes in commercial songs.
That could probably be "Level One" by Scooter. This was an official cover by the way, with Chris Hülsbeck properly credited as composer.JohanE wrote:I have heard more songs that sounds very inspired by computer music. One sounded exactly like the turrican 2-tune freedom but shazam did not find it.

Re: Allister Brimble Amiga album pledge on Kickstarter
Allister has added a remix competition to his album project: You are invited to produce a remix of ANY team 17 game track written by myself. This should be to modern day production standards and CD quality. The winner will have their track appear on the album and be fully credited. http://www.kickst...

Allister Brimble is planning to create an album with up to date CD quality versions and remixes of his best musical works from the Amiga, and has a funding pledge up on KickStarter. I have received many requests to create new versions of my tracks in the past, but I never felt I could improve on the...

Re: Amiga tune names question.
I just got this question to ask as I've started doing a few amiga remixes. What do you call them? When you do a c64 remix you look up the valid HVSC 56 filename. Is there one for the amiga? I don't know what some tunes are called in games? Any help? cheers! I don't think such a database exists of A...

Oops, you're absolutely right, of course!
