Although it would be an Indiana Jones chin scratching moment if it was between a 1541 disk drive and a pallet of bricks. How many bricks are equal to the weight ;)

I had NO idea! I'm used to Telewest (it's at my parents) and have only been using BT for a year since I moved in with my gf. To be honest, 30gb is a lot to download. That's probably why I've never come across it.

Well Telewest reckons so... Quote... "We are pleased to announce that we will be making your service even faster at no extra cost whilst continuing to give you the peace of mind of a completely unlimited service unlike our competitors at Wanadoo and BT." Well, I can only speak for the ser...

BT arrived stealthily one night and forced an upgrade to 2meg onto us. We didn't want it but they threatened us.

Bit of a surprise one morning to find that the connection had doubled from 1.1 to 2.2. I'm hoping it happens again :)

Well in that context I'd guess it means a musical philistine? It's probably someone who doesn't listen ("cloth-eared") and is stupid. Bang on Cloth eared nincompoop! ;) *only open to non brits  Although Lman actually has it in this meaning of the musical way, so Markus is actually mo...

Hope the foot heals soon Tas :)

I'm happy enough, although I developed shingles over the course of last weekend. I have NO idea where they come from. Not too obtrusive (just a small-ish patch on my back) but it feels like I've been punched.

Leper hood and bell at standby :(

It's a great demo, I remember when it was released. I had an .adf for years and recently converted it so that it runs natively.

Check to see if your assigned IP address (i'm assuming you are using DHCP) is in the same range as your router. My laptop keeps brain-farting and assigning itself an IP address other than 192.168 etc etc.

And I don't wanna say here what I think about sampled "guitars"! Free your mind! My mind is free enough to do guitar songs with synths in it and vice versa. I even use the guitar to create synth sounds. But vice versa it's not possible, at least not in the way of "Shadow of th...
