Re: Prince Of Persia, c64 conversion

You obviously need to work on your googling skills... ;) Try this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Easyflash-Cartridge-Commodore-64-128-/190529265631 These are basically a lot like the cartridges that Ocean and System3 used when the C64GS came out in 1990. Except that you can flash them yourself. There are ...

Re: SIDPLAY/Mac 4.0 released

Thanks analoq!

I wouldn't know how to do the same thing on Windows anyway, as there are no good examples of how an app
should look like and behave. Everybody does their own thing, and not even Microsoft follows their own rules.

Re: SIDPLAY/Mac 4.0 released

I've released SIDPLAY 4.1.3 yesterday, which fixes a playback bug that appeared in Snow Leopard. But probably more interesting is the fact that I've added simple integration with RKO and Remix64.com. Basically you can do "Find Remixes", and it'll show you all remixes available from RKO, an...

Definitely an enjoyable evening... :)

You don't get the chance to shake hands with Rob and Jeroen very often. The arrangement for the orchestra was excellent. I'm going to listen to it again next week in Amsterdam. ;)

There are plug-ins for Windows mp3 players available that can play .d00 files.
For example this one here: http://www.oplx.com/code/

D00 player for the Mac...

Here is a small goodie that I promised earlier. EdLibPlay is a tiny little player for Vibrants' EdLib music (also known as D00 files). EdLibPlay uses an emulation engine that tries to ensure a high-quality rendition of the original AdLib chip sound. The GUI is simple with no frills. Requires Mac OS ...

I've released a small bugfix update for SIDPLAY yesterday. Version 3.4.1 has these changes: - Fixed a problem with detecting HVSC Update #45. - Fixed incorrect subtune and songlength display on Intel-based Macs. - Info window now stays hidden if it has been closed. - Fixed AIFF export on PowerPC sys...

I've also released the SIDPlug update now. To quote from my webpage : "The new version of the browser plug-in includes support for Intel-based Macs. But the download is also highly recommended for PowerPC users, since the plug-in has been completely rewritten from scratch and all known crash bu...

I would really prefer if you stick to the correct capitalizations of SIDPLAY and SIDPlug.

But as nobody seems to care about that since 1996... :-/

Other than that, the site is nice, (no problems using Firefox on Windows either), but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

There's a small difference if you do it that way. If you use the system-wide Spotlight search, it will search through all .sid files on your harddisk. If you have multiple copies of the HVSC lying around, you'll get multiple results for your search. It will also search all other files on your machin...

Don't waste your time. If there would be a feasible way to do that, I would've done it a long time ago.
It's very much platform-specific code.
