... On my part it's not like "Why the f*** is R:K:O down?!!", it's like "Remixes will find another day another way to my hdd but what happened to Jan?".
Yah, silly enough that I connect "R:K:O down" with "Something bad happened to Jan".
Sorry.
[erm... that's not connected to my post above... ]

The last report we had was that Jan is doing well, albeit a tad swamped by the upcoming exams. Currently on day #2 of a 14-day study plan, and keeping up with the schedule, too. Oh, and he's off for xmas for a week starting Monday, so unless RKO gets back on the air before that you'll have to wait to hear Markus Schneiders xmas'y version of Golden Axe.Vosla wrote:it's like "Remixes will find another day another way to my hdd but what happened to Jan?".
Anyway, time for us to take a break. We'll be back, right after these messages...

What next, Chris? Hooked on Perhaps-a-Doobie? The Greatest Perhaps-a-Doobie Album in the World... Ever? Or a P-a-D tribute album called "He's gone to that great unicycle track in the sky?"Chris Abbott wrote:K-Tel presents... Perhaps-a-Doobie does Xmas!

Until I hear otherwise I'm assuming it was just the system disk that took a dive, and not the disk hosting the files. The database content should be the most critical bit, but luckily that is hosted on a seperate PC to even the load. Even if that server decided to take a dive as well I've got a mysql-dump that goes up to tune id# 2173. Baffle leaves backups to his users (can't blame him) but I've got a DVD-R with everything up to september 1st last year, and a couple of supplemental CDRs for the recent stuff. If it comes to that, a restoration job is most certainly doable.Analog-X wrote:I'm sure there are backups of everything but if Jan finds files missing or whatever just let me know, and I'll try and help best as I can.
Anyway, back to the scheduled cramming.
