remix.kwed.org

Post by 64addict »

Hi!

I went to slay.c64.org and read that the tunes they play there can be downloaded from remix.kwed.org. Unfortunately this site is down, I heard the owner had a diskcrash.

Is there some other site where I can download the over 1600 c64 remixes?

Bye!

When will remix.kwed.org be online again?

Or does anybody have a private ftp for me?

Thanks!

Since the brakedown of RKO isn't actually on Jan's part, and infact it is for Baffle to sort out, we can't even estimate when it'll be back. With x-mas Holiday's coming up it may release a bit of time for baffle to sort it out, but then it may also give him less time as family comes a priority.

As for an ftp, i would think that few (if any) could help you there. 1700+ tunes is a heck of a lot of gigs.

Volunteering help to restore remix.kwed.org

Post by SunGod »

Well, I'd like to volunteer my help to get remix.kwed.org back online. I run a couple sites of my own, and love remix.kwed.org. I'm a lurker, but I'm a lurking remix junkie. :)

If anybody has an archived copy of the full site, I would happily host it temporarily until the regular site goes live. Also, if anyone needs the remix MP3, I have most of them - I've got 894 of them on my local drive that I would happily make available to whoever restores the site. They're untouched and were taken straight off of the original site.

If anyone is interested in taking me up on the offer, email me directly (gmgiles@pacbell.net). IMPORTANT: use the subject "remix.kwed.org help" - I get a lot of spam and don't want to accidentally delete your message.

That's about 10DVDs, it'd only take you a weekend!

Doing nothing but Insert Disk 2... 3.... 4... etc.
