To arrangers: You can now specify alternative download sources for your remixes at Remix.Kwed.Org and AMIGAremix. That means: People can still download your remixes from Remix64, even if the above sites are down.
This system will propably be expanded in the future, so you will be able to have your tune take part in the Remix64 charts, even if it has been rejected at RKO or AR. The catch: You'll have to host the tunes yourself.
Submit your alternative download URLs at the "MyRemix64" section.
Markus, this is an excellent piece of news and another great feature.
Well done for coming up with this and implementing it. May I say, whilst I'm writing this, that in general you have done an excellent job of this site. I think this can not be said often enough and to be honest, it isn't said that often sadly. People just moan a lot, when they forget all the work beeing put into such a web site. So on behalf of thousands of listeners, remixers and visitors, thanks for your time and effort, we all really appreciate it.

How is this managed? From what i see there's no way to *add* a song if it's not on RKO or AR.
Just read the full sentence:

great new feature,Markus !!! 2 thumbs up 4 this!!!
All my tunes have now an alternative URL , except my remixes of Spellbound (reduced) and JT in space , because i can't find the original audio-files
All tunes are in 160kps on my page on RKO they were only 128kps, except SUPERNOVA !
You can now bring the alternative downloads to the top of the charts listing by clicking on "D/L" in the table header. So you can instantly access the currently available tunes.
