C64 releases on Vinyl?

Post by Rock »

I know this isn't exactly a multi-billion dollar industry. However, I think a few CD's could benefit greatly from a limited edition vinyl pressing. Such as reyn's galway remixed, instant remedy's CD, and to a lesser extent, Karma 64. I'm just throwing this idea out, it's probably not very practical otherwise it would've been done by now, and since it's all digital there's not going to be any "warm" analogue sound, I don't think.

I'd love to own nexus 2 on a 7" vinyl (33rpm/45rpm it don't matter as long as it all fits), and I'm sure others may feel the same.

But far be it from me to tell y'all how to run a business. I'm just a very enthusiasic c64 remix listener. Had I fruityloops and any talent I'd pump out 5,000 versions of Fairlight, but perhaps thankfully, I do not.

Also as a post script, any chance of some high quality .PDF's of some C64 sheet music? My piano playing is not the greatest in the universe, seeing as how my repertoire consists of "a bunch of minuets by bach and the song they play on Suikoden 2 when you and your friend jump off a cliff" but I need a project that's not horribly difficult. And Bach's inventions are horribly difficult to a piano player with ~3 years experience and no formal training.

Regards,
Rock Janecek

Believe me, the only thing stopping me releasing DJ Vinyls to the clubs is money!

As for PDFs of sheet music: well, we're very keen for that to happen, but it's a question of manpower.
