Hi all,
I would like to kindly ask everyone to keep the banners in your messageboard-signature as small as possible.
Thank you,
- Markus

I think the popular banner size of 468x60 should be the absolute maximum.
That leaves your Sigue Sigue Sputnik banner valid with 400x40 pixels.

I've never suffered from "banner envy". It's not how big your banner is, but what you display

Banners are fun, and as long as they arent animated they shouldnt cause any problems.

would the above large banner be the cause of all this?
I wonder

Big banners really make it harder to read the page. They're supposed to be smaller than the average post, not bigger.

I'd have to agree with Chris on that one... the point of a messageboard is to talk... all these banners just get in the way, paticularly if your post is only a line or two long! Besides, what's the point really?

Plus humorous ones are only funny once. Then the joke is dead. Unless it's badger related...
