Oooo Andreas, you drumming tart!

Actually a mate of mine is a DDrum fan. Moved to Vdrum, and wish he hadn't.

I like them both, but you can't beat the sound of a mic'd snare imo.

I'm all for just rocking up tunes. Let PPOT do what they do well, and let us just make distorted noise :)

I really would like to avoid doing anything that PPOT have done, are doing, and will do, if you know what I mean.

I'm ok for the event, hopefully the days before will be ok. It really depends on work commitment.

Chris, have you spoken to anyone SIDlike about this yet, like Benn?

Ben's already up for this one: the date was changed from the first or second week in Sep to avoid his gig commitments.

I know it is off-topic here, but a friend of mine is studying to become a professional violin player. A few years ago he visited a local violin shop and unfortunately managed to push a $5000 instrument with his elbow into the floor. Ouch! Fortunately he had a decent insurance, and the instrument was recoverable after some work.

Now, I'm just trying to figure out which SID would benefit most from the sound of a crashing violin.. or not.

Never mind those... This is far more important! :)

Andreas
Hehe, I'm waiting for one, but you won't see the baby at BIT!!

Hmm well you haven't just paid out £2500 for a new boiler... and almost about to pay out another £1700 for someone to put paint on your walls.... ;)

An unusual suggestion for you - APEX BEATS or the DUB MIX by Steve Rowlands, could be very funky...
